Background

William GallegosWill Gallegos discovered the technical side of theatre, specifically lighting at the age of ten when he was given the opportunity to operate the lights in his school's studio theatre. At sixteen his passion evolved into his own company, which provided lighting and sound for private hire. This experience propelled him towards his formal training in Lighting Design at Rose Bruford College.

Will Gallegos has worked as a freelance lighting designer and technician for the last ten years. This range of work enables him to keep up to date with the latest technology and skills within the lighting industry, and ensures that Will’s designs stay fresh and unique. Will takes pride in his work. His professionalism guarantees that the final production is finished to a high standard.

As a lighting designer, Will Gallegos is able to visualise the client’s end product and is able to communicate these ideas to others. Will’s in depth knowledge of the technology he works with allows him to easily troubleshoot. Anyone who has met Will knows that, standing at 6’5”, he is happy at heights.
